Do you sometimes feel a bit ‘snowed under’ with the admin side of running your own studio? Here’s an easy way to get some effective Studio Admin strategies in place. Create positive business ‘boundaries’ with this triple pack. Save your time and energy for better and more creative teaching, and then switch off to enjoy more down time and family time for yourself.
1/. Studio Policy:
Would you like to set boundaries on ‘catch-up’ lessons? Be fair to yourself as well as your students? Let them know practice expectations? Have parents understand the quality of instrument their child needs, in order to progress well? Fully editable: add in your own policies, and remove any you don’t want. Help your students and their families easily understand how your studio runs, and their place in it, without having to explain it over and over again.
2/. Online Enrollment Form:
Have parents or adult students take care of their own online enrollment application with a ready-to-use online form. Gather your prospective student’s contact details; set out your studio policies at the time of enrollment; get ‘photo permission’ opt-ins or opt-outs quickly and easily; have a list of any students special needs in one place, and select prospective students who will best fit with your teaching style. And of course, you can completely customise this google form to suits your needs.
3/. ‘Vacant Lesson List’:
Allow your students’ parents to sort out their own lesson swaps and ‘catch-ups’ for their absences – Save your time and sanity! The ‘vacant lesson list’ allows you to set up an easy way for students to list their own absent lessons, and to claim other students’ absent lessons as catch-ups, in a private and secure fashion.
