Inspire your students to learn about famous hymn writers and composers, through curiosity, craft, and collaboration. Help them learn more about life, and faith, and gain a sense of personal achievement, as they explore the connections between life, songwriting, and composing.

This lapbook-style project kit helps students research and learn about the interesting life stories behind any of their favourite hymns. This activity pack allows you to choose your own hymns – You can either choose which hymns the students research, or allow them to decide which hymns they want to research for themselves. Handy website resource suggestions are included, for your easy reference.

With EIGHT unique, custom designed activities included here, allowing for eight different hymns, there is plenty to keep students busily discovering much about life and music! Each activity includes cutting, pasting, writing and folding – which is especially engaging for students who learn through ‘doing’. As students complete each of these activities, they are building a deeper understanding of the true meaning of the hymn, and it’s connection to real life.
